Payroll Coordinator:
The best advise I could give a payroll coordinator is read the provincial labor code for each province you pay staff in and read it often. You should know this backwards and forwards. Be very familiar with the items that the company offers it's staff and always know your go to for most items is the Revenue Canada Website. The other thing is don't sell your self short. If you feel you deserve a certain pay and/or starting with more holiday time then speak up and ask for these things right away and get it in writing. If you are not already a member then look into the payroll courses provided by the Canadian Payroll Association.
