August 2015
Payroll has changed.

Payroll Administrator:
Pros: I have been involved in development of programs using Excel and Access to complete are accounting in the most efficient way. The programs that have been developed have allowed the company to try new ways of working sales teams around the United States. We can quickly see the cost value in new sales teams. My work is very challenging as I look to new and more efficient ways to accomplish manifests, inventory control, and payroll taxes.
Cons: The CFO does not control all aspects of the finances making it hard to locate and plug profit leaks. To counter that the CFO can not pay his team their true value.

1 person department...
Payroll Administrator:
A 1 person department is sometimes a difficult thing to work with, especially if you don't have a strong network of professional around you. Make sure you are part of an association or network of professionals in your field that will be able to give you advice or point you in the right direction when you have questions.

How much the company would grow.
Payroll Administrator:
Start by keeping organized. Don't be afraid to let the owner know exactly what you do and how long it takes. If you don't then it is just taken for granted that everything gets done and when you want to be compensated for everything fairly it is harder to prove your point. In other words, keep the owner in the time sheet loop.
