What is it like working as an Office Manager?

It's hard enough without being stressful.

I only ask to be paid as much as I am valuable.
Office Manager:
Pros: I love most the experience I am gaining. With no real guidance of how my position should be, I have created the beginnings of the foundations for two of the three job descriptions in the company. Mine, the position of Office Manager and the position of the AV Installation Technician.
Cons: There is absolutely no foundation of guidelines. Each employee acts as a free agent who makes up their own rules along the way. I am creating a Policies and Procedures for our positions and hope to start on something real, legitimate and clear. Everyone feels they deserve more for the nature of the work that the technicians do. I personally feel like I deserve more because I have gotten the company to place where it has never been. You would be surprised to see this 20 year old idea exist as it does. No systems or any sort, no guidines to follow, just complete disarray.
