WORKING FOR AN ABORIGINAL CORPORATION.
Office Manager:
A person must be strong willed in the field because it is a very demanding job because most Aboriginal corporations are ran by family, or cousins in the family. An employee of these services does not only have to deal with members of the organisation but also has to abide by Tribal protocol, and sometimes be peace maker within that family business. Be able to resolve conflict and be able to front up to aggressive Men and Women in the Organisation. Also A person must be prepared to deal with out side racism and inside corporate racism along with others who are affected by PTSD, and anxiety disorders cause by trans-generational trauma. Maintain a strong level of trust and integrity in order to maintain communications between councils and tribal members and board members and Elders in the community.
