Human Resources Advisor Reviews

What is it like working as a Human Resources Advisor?

October 2013
Work Hard, Play Hard
Human Resources Advisor:
The role is new to the yards so be persistant and available. It is important to have a good sense of humour and have fun. You will build credabiltiy by meet deadlines and getting to know the people by name. The managers and the people are looking to you to find workable solutions and compromise to make the yards a fun place to work. On the spot recruitment is normal, so be flexible to the needs as presented. The managers have been doing this for a long time without you so treat them with respect as they are knowledgeable. You are a resource to help them do their jobs better. Guidance and advise will go over better than direction or ultimatiums.
