Chances for advancement & more pay.
Administrative Assistant:
Based on previous jobs I assumed my work would be reviewed and there would be opportunities to advance and increase my pay. However, I found out they use a system here whereby everyone gets the same increase every year regardless of whether they've one a good jor or a bad job. Now I am stuck with low pay despite having added quite a bit of responsibility and process improvements over the years I've been here. Therefore, my advice is to ask about performance and salary evaluation methods before accepting a job.
