Wal-Mart Stores, Inc Reviews
What is it like working at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc?
Long as we work as a team things go as good as any job would go.
Stocker in Independence:
Pros: That they want me to move up to management but I haven't decided yet
Cons: You're never in one spot at Walmart they consider you a fresh team you're all over the store
Cashier in citrus park:
Pros: I like being a cashier but would like to train for other positions as well.
Cons: That in my location, the managers cater to the hispanic race. Quiet sickening and speaks Spanish rather than English. Extremely annoying. I go home with massive headace after every shift.
Customer Service Associate in Oceanside:
I enjoy my job, and I really enjoy the customers. I do appreciate the fact that I am working, but Walmart as a company is what I don't like. We work hard and we work gruesome schedules for an extreme low wage. And I've never felt so unappreciated by management ever.
A Team Effort.
Vision Center Manager in San Antonio:
Pros: The push to move up by those that work with you. This particular store is very much about moving up and cross training most skills so everything is not dumped onto just one associate.
Cons: The attitude of those that have been with the company the longest and do not have a bright view of the need for change and development.
Hours are good customers argue and are rude.
Asset Protection Associate in Salt Lake City:
Pros: Regular customers are friendly
Cons: Rude and disrespectful people
Fast paced.
Personal Shopper in New Albany:
Pros: You are on your own through out the entire day. You take your breaks and lunch when its convenient for you
Cons: Favoritism. They dont accept Drs notes and no holiday pay
Stressful.. You get taken advantage of and treated unfairly.
Department Manager, Retail Store in Washington Court House:
Pros: The customers .. they always are telling me what a great job I’m doing unlike the managers above me
Cons: Inconsistent on everything
