I love it!

Pros: Get to build amazing systems that truly define how the world's computer networks operate.

Sr. Network Engineer in Bangalore:
Pros: Best place to work
Fun and Challenging.
Technical Marketing Engineer in San Jose:
Pros: The visibility and the benefits that come with working here.
Cons: Promotions and performance and salary metrics are unclear.
It is an ambiguous job, but depending on the team you will feel very fulfilled (or not)
Data Engineer in San Francisco:
Pros: I like that there is a lot of say over what I can do with my free time. Cisco allows you to structure your life how you want it, but if that option is available to you then your actual work will be a little on the slower side. This might hinder your career growth.
Cons: I dislike the demographic of people. Cisco is an older company, so finding younger co-workers is difficult. This give the job a weird taste, as you are constantly around older individuals who are all parents, and in turn treat you as such. It is hard to have casual conversation with most as the gap in socialization is so large due to age differences. I also dislike how male dominated it is, leaving few women picked for leadership roles and promotions.
It's a grind and opportunities are less merit based than networking based.

Pros: The pay feeds my family. I can work from home. My work is trusted, but there is too much for one person.
Cons: There are not enough (or the right) standard data management systems. Too many chiefs not enough workers.
Challenging but not shining.

Cons: Its far from where I live. Low feeling of pride.
