What is it like working at 7-Eleven, Inc.?
Can be fun it is what u make of it but it is alot of hard work physically and mentally having to deal with some crazy customers.
Store Team Leader in Las Vegas:
Pros: I can be myself
Cons: There isn't any accountability and I believe I should be getting paid more
Enjoyably difficult.
Crew Leader in Las Vegas:
Pros: The most enjoyable thing about working at 7-Eleven is our customers. They are truly the reason we are here.
Cons: The most difficult part of working for 7-Eleven has been the increase of job requirements and responsibilities, specifically the addition of 7Now online ordering, that requires the workers to run around pulling at times very large orders for customers in addition to our regular job duties without an increase in pay or recognition.
A multi-cultural learning experience.
Retail General Manager (GM) in Lexington:
Pros: inclusion, diversity, and the organization as a whole
Cons: long hours, quality of staff, and pay
A Great Start.
Retail Store Manager in Dallas:
Pros: I have some creative control over the operation of the store.
I hold the key to the stores success.
Cons: Sometimes processes are slow moving. Sometimes you have to improvise to meet goals. Hifg focus on new locations.
It can be fun depending on crew. Stress high due to so many task need done you don't have time to work in the store. Talk with customer.
Retail Store Manager in Harlingen:
Pros: My customers
Cons: Not being paid for the work I do
Sales Associate in Laredo:
Pros: I am a college student and I’m a full time student and work really works with my schedule
Cons: There isn’t any effort from the other employees so most of the time it feels like I’m doing everything
Not for everyone.
Customer Service Associate in Denver:
Pros: Love that my boss is willing to work with me to allow my strengths to show and understands every situation we've experienced. He's mentioned "you've saved me hundreds of dollars" because of my efforts at work. I never have known a family that is so kind and respectful as my current employer and it shows he's good people.
Cons: Not knowing everyone's schedule to make sure I'm not expecting someone who's chronically late when I have immediate after work plans. Lack of uniformity regarding the efforts to keep a clean store or run off the crazies.
