7-Eleven, Inc. Reviews

What is it like working at 7-Eleven, Inc.?

Always on call.
Retail Store Assistant Manager in Pelham:
Pros: You get to work with the public and get to know your regular customers by name.
Cons: Some store managers treat assistant managers like our life revolves around the store and should be on call 24/7. If someone calls out or doesn't show up we are expected to go in or stay even if we have already worked a full shift, so can work an 18 hr shift but can't get overtime so hours are cut other days.
Great if we had an owner/ boss who treats women and men the same.
Senior Sales Associate in Lake Elsinore:
Pros: not much anymore
Cons: the lack of respect, lack of pay, the fact that I am not appreciated whatsoever
It's stressful dealing with irate customer's having to watch for theft and watching the money move in and out of the store.
Security Officer in Las Vegas:
Pros: The employees I work with are down to earth and a pleasure to be around
Cons: Not enough hours and the pay is horrible
Happy go lucky facade, miserable and dark outlook on everything.
Retail Sales Associate in Houston:
Pros: The customers...snf making filthy place cleaner.
Cons: The msnagers dismal abilities to motivate and or keep employees.
Easy.
Assistant Manager in Norfolk:
Pros: The customers
Cons: The pay
Its been a long, eventful, and winding road.
Retail Sales Assistant in Chesapeake:
Pros: I love to be able to answer and analyze people's questions. I love to make employees feel appreciated and I love to impress customers making my store new ones and still surprising my regulars. as well as the learning and experience possibilities are endless.
Cons: there is no paid vacation or sick time. Apparently as a franchise they are not as generous as a corporate store with pay and don't even offer General small raises after a year or anything like that. Very few are noticed &or given a raise. Yet they expect boatloads
A Coddled Egg.
Cashier in Palm Bay:
Pros: That I’m allowed to operate with minimal micro-management
Cons: The lack of opportunities for a raise, no vacation time, sick days, or benefits of any kind.
