Pros: Work from home 90% of the time. Fuel reimbursement, hotel expense paid by company.
Cons: 18 offices to manage IT for, driving to offices when remote support is not possible. Long distance driving over 100 miles one way for several offices. Sometimes if a project or a lot support is required for offices at long distance you opt to stay in hotels.

As an IT professional, there is a lot of time required in and out of the office to be successful. If you can stay focused and not be afraid to try new things you can be success in an IT career. Try to stay well rounded to ensure versatility in the workplace.

Cons: Responsible for the entire IT footprint and get minimal support.
