McCain Foods, Ltd. Reviews

What is it like working at McCain Foods, Ltd.?

It's challenging. It's run lean usually 4 people where there should be 6.
Packaging or Filling Machine Operator / Tender in Timaru:
Pros: Home time
Cons: The lack of training. The expectation of a trainee is like ur a fully signed of operator I've seen traines pulled into the office for not doing a metal test bag weights quality checks etc my point here is how can a traine that gets no training to be held accountable. When he or she is still being paid as a trainee I always believed in a dangerous environment like a packing room a trainee should never be counted as one of the fully signed off operators till they are signed off.
IT hard work and you are constantly on your feet, but its also exciting and challanging.
Hygiene Coordinator in Johannesburg:
Pros: Working with people
Cons: The politics
Complex issues resolvable only by external vendors as the whole IT department has been outsourced.
Security Consultant, (Computing / Networking / Information Technology) in Toronto:
Pros: The freedom, lack of stress, learning opportunities, working remotely
Cons: lack of internal IT employees that I can work with together
Challenging.
Production Operator in Johannesburg:
Pros: Processing of frozen food
Cons: No growth of employees and no medical aid benefits for employees family
