What is it like working at AutoZone, Inc.?
Everyday is a well learned experience.
Customer Service Specialist in Palmdale:
Pros: Costomer service. Building relations by great customer satisfaction.
Cons: I cant think of anything.
Work at AutoZone.
Parts Manager in Syracuse:
Pros: Being able to help customers find the parts they need to fix there problems and make there days go a little bit easier.
Cons: The high stress level of my store specifically, and the lack of assistance from other stores when it comes to my location. As well as the lack of upper management listening to the recommendations of there employees about how to make the store a better place to work in.
I enjoy it but I wish that either the pay was a little higher or the hours a little more constant.
Parts Manager in Acworth:
Pros: Interacting with new people. Solving problems and seeing happy customers.
Cons: Lack of bonuses for non upper management employees.
I am very happy until I see my paycheck. Then I'm sad and embarassed.
Retail Manager in Redlands:
Pros: No two days are the same. Helping my customers and keeping the store running consistently and smoothly regarding daily tasks and all aspects of inventory.
Cons: What I'm being paid.
Sales Associate in Boise:
Pros: I like having good friendly employees. I like having the ability to help people that come into our store with their problems that I can solve, and most importantly I love being the person to take the time and hear out someone who has went to other stores and not gotten the service they needed and deserved and hearing that they will start with our store first because I was able to get them what the need.
Cons: I hate that management (corporate) will worry more about micromanaging tiny aspects of the job that are very negligible to the overall outcome of store performance, while avoiding bigger issues on their level that have been proceeding for some time and have a dramatic impact on sales and environment, both for the customers and employees. It also seems when a procedure or policy needs mended either because it is outdated or because it is new the refuse to make necessary changes and from what I hear will often just comb over the issues and rely on each individual store to make it's own solutions to the problems corporate has caused. And I should emphasize, these are not small issues these are company wide issues causing loss of profit to company and overall negatively in the workplace.
Work.
