Cons: Still it is a corporate structure - there is a glass ceiling
Electrical Engineer in Washington:
Great company which cares about its employees. Quite socialistic by nature and tries to reward everyone a little bit rather than incentivize performance. Good culture. People are friendly. Provides great benefits. Management is a bit slow to make things happen as there are a lot of checks and bounds.
Great, but we tend to do lots of other stuff that project managers shoukd be doing as well.

Cons: The pay
Arup cherry-picks interesting projects.
Civil Engineer in Solihull:
Pros: Good working conditions; good top-down communication; Arup looks after us.

Excellent opportunities.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator in Perth:
Pros: Given responsibility on big projects in my local area as well as internationally, despite being a graduate. There are opportunities to work and live in any major in the world (as long as Arup has an office there).
Cons: There are times when you will need to put in long hours, but this is typical in most engineering companies in the industry.
