Not that bad.

Welding pro.
Welder in Boise:
Pros: I love being a welder and seeing my work on the back of the truck for everyone to see
Cons: I don't feel I'm paid what I'm worth compared to new employees that I have to train and fix mistakes.
June 2019
Work at TASCO.
Welder in Tampa:
Pros: I like working with fabricators and people in shop.
Cons: The plant supervisor jamie is disorganized and unprofessional... leads to unnecessary overtime standing around waiting for material to weld. They dont have any welding procedure and quality control for structural steel fabrication.. but say they are to AWS d.1.1 code... avoid this place if you want to learn to weld or advance your career.. it's just a place to collect paycheck
June 2019
Welder in Brisbane:
Pros: That its flexible
Cons: how organized it is and the flat rate that I am receiving and no one has taught my how to do my job I had to figure it out all myself
June 2019
Good Company. Good company, steady work for journeymen. Not many opportunities for advancement and not enough compensation when advancement is given.
Welder in Virginia Beach:
Pros: I like the work and flexibility.
Cons: Compensation for added responsibilities.
May 2019
Advantageous.
Welder in Lima:
Pros: Supervisors leave you alone and let you do your work in peace. There is usually no rush or pressure. Supervisors are pleasant and decent people to communicate with.
Cons: The quality and control aspect is totally ridiculous and unnecessary. It's not TQ but rather the company
TQ is contracted for which is Proctor and Gamble. It is very difficult as a welder to please just one person who does not appear to have ever welded a day in his/her life.
