Don't automatically command respect from your employees. Give them a reason to respect your authority. Everybody in a company is valuable, from the person who sweeps the floor to the corner office. Treat people with respect, empower them. Praise them and coach them as well as hold them accountable for their actions. This will make people want to work for you harder and they will be more motivated.

The challenge of having to find solutions to a problem and go further to implement them. The exciting feeling of working on dead lines. The adrenalin rush is an overall drug that keeps me glued to the job.
