Pros: Awesome Team, ability to mentor and to shape people's careers, ability to help shape the direction of the company, smart and dedicated coworkers, complex but great product, constant challenge and learning
Cons: Since Support is considered a "cost center", the Team is squeezed too hard, with lots of responsibility and low appreciation; long commute if I go to the office, lacking the opportunity to work in person with the Team

Technical Support Manager in Chicago:
Pros: I selected Chicago but I really work in Schaumburg. I enjoy coming to work at a state of the art building with a state of the art gym, we have our own deli, restaurants are within walking distance and the company encourages a healthy lifestyle.
Cons: It's a 26 mile one way commute. Currently two years into a tedious integration process that doesn't seem to allow for promotions or even lateral moves. The internal policies make it very difficult to get things done. Much of this causing high levels of stress.
