The Work Was Extremely Rewarding.
Teaching Assistant (TA):
The work is a can be extremely satisfying. As long as your colleagues and senior management have the children's welfare put first. Constant support emotionally and academically is essential. Patience and care makes a world of difference to the children.
Organizing and preparing daily resources. Personal pupil information and records updated daily. Ability to interact with parent/carers. Ability to cover class. Staying calm in stressful situations.

Pros: Helping and watching the children learn and develop and knowing that I am a part of this.
Cons: The pay is not very good for what I do.

Pros: I enjoy having a connexion with the children which is more than that of a school teacher as the child confinds in you making you the key source of safe guarding in children, so if there was any concerns then it would be first hand observence by a teaching assisstant.
Cons: The pay, for what the job entails it is a constant on the go, like surrogate parents and is very tiring, the pay should be increased for such great responsibility.
