Support Technician, Information Technology (IT):
Pros: I deal with all the staff, from Directors to clerical. I enjoy fixing problems and helping others. I enjoy teaching others when it comes to software they don't understand or haven't used much. I enjoy being able to "save the day" when it comes to a computer/network problem.
Cons: I feel that I am spread to thin, I cannot do my best because of the time restraints, you can only do so much in 8 hours. No overtime is allowed. I feel I could better handle some issues if I had some training on those specific types of issues. Company does not pay employees to take classes or even encourage that.
