One For The Books, One For The Bacon.
Senior Web Designer:
It's tough to determine where to best allocate your energy.
If you're like me, you've likely been approached to do some design by every aunt, grandpa, neighbor, friend, colleague, cousin, taxi driver, friend of a friend and college peer you know. It's tough to make a hierarchy of what to work on next.
Solution: identify upfront with your client or manager whether this project is intended to produce one for the books (i.e. Awards, portfolio pieces, art, etc.) or produce bacon (i.e. Money, social currency, likes, favorites, pins, upvotes, retweets, forwards, clicks, views, shares, bitcoin, etc.)
Also remember to work with your client to identify the different strategies needed to design for bacon and books.

Pros: There is only one good thing here that when you tell them that you are leaving their office. They change there company rules just for you and make you stay here.
Cons: Rules always change here as they feel beneficial. No extra overtime paid. Very strict timing periods.
