Security Officer Reviews
What is it like working as a Security Officer?
June 2016
Long hours, low pay, over worked.
Security Officer:
Pros: Pay frequency is fortnighly instead of monthly.
Cons: Not enough sleep and treated poorly.
May 2016
Security Officer:
Pay attention to the person that is training you, and you will then have your way of working your post the way you have be trained.

Security Officer.
Security Officer:
Security Officer's in general do not earn a great amount and if they do its normally when they do long shifts as in 12 Hour shifts or Door work. However it is best to put forward to your employer exactly what you can do. However if you have family there is no point doing overtime as it will ruin your family life as you do not get to see your family much. So try and have spend time with family as this is important.
May 2016
Great chance to work with large mixed class of persons.
Security Officer:
Respect for all persons who you might interact with regardless of you personal impression.
April 2016
Security Officer:
It's security work. You may aspire to be a police officer, but you aren't one.
April 2016
Pay is too low.
Security Officer:
Pros: They pay weekly, for the most part they don't mess up the checks.
Cons: They pay too low, they don't care about thier own employees. Turn over is horrible and extremely high, l question how can they stay in business with barely keeping a person for more then one month?
March 2016
Not worth it in the long run.
Security Officer:
Pros: Helping people.
Cons: The added duties every month. The disrespect you got from management and the clientele. The small pay raises which did not help with the increase of cost of living every year. The job is just not worth it in the long run as a career. Your mental health takes a toll after some time. The Security industry does not hold on to quality Officers for a long time due to the pay. The quality Officers leave eventually due to everything said above and never return.
