Safety Manager:
The front line people are great, the pay is ok, the organization is fractured and disorganized, turnover is high, upper management is adversarial and aggressive, the CEO thrives on confrontation. Its a paycheck, but I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone but someone seeking an entry level position.

Pros: There's not a lot of good things to say about Modesto CA. The best thing about where I work is that it's a 10 minute from home. Modesto is a below average city with rampant homeless and run down businesses. The job opportunists are not as free because most of the jobs are suited for recent high school graduates.
