Retail Sales Associate Reviews

What is it like working as a Retail Sales Associate?

May 2022
Pretty decent.
Retail Sales Associate in Arlington:
Pros: I like that I’m surrounded by car parts problems and ways to help people with their problems. And giving really good advice
Cons: Stocking days are a pain but that’s jsut my personal opinion. The pay definitely isn’t the best and I wish I could make more.
April 2022
Only Worth the Discount.
Retail Sales Associate in Birmingham:
Pros: I like the store discount and part knowledge you get from doing it. Very useful for car people.
Cons: Very stressful due to bad scheduling and over worked.
April 2022
Management is hardly there. Pay is not equal. Ppl start after me and make more.
Retail Sales Associate in Hinesville:
Pros: Helping the customer. Organization of products.
Cons: Favoritism, non equaled pay, short handed shifts because management does not show up.
March 2022
This not a retail program resdential treatment program.
Retail Sales Associate in Baltimore:
Pros: Interacting with various clients
Cons: Need more Mental health counseling
January 2022
Great, but because of my Store Manager.
Retail Sales Associate in Stockton:
Pros: What I like most is my store team. We really are like a family because my store manager has created such an accepting environment. I also do love the hair industry and the passion many of our customers have. It’s usually a pleasant experience. Of course any customer service based job is going to have those difficult customers, but I definitely think we have less issues than a regular retail store.
Cons: What I like least is the stereotypical divide between corporate and the store employees. It’s very “the customer is always right”. It would be nice to feel more supported by corporate. It takes drastic measures for higher ups to see the struggle the store associates go through, especially safety-wise. Also our specific store has been outdated and quite frankly, a safety hazard for way too long.
December 2021
Fast pace and sometimes challenging.
Retail Sales Associate in Harriman:
Pros: Downstocking and zoning my department
Cons: Not everyone tries hard at their job
December 2021
It’s mostly rich white people not knowing how to dress.
Retail Sales Associate in Corona:
Pros: I can (if put in the time and effort) move up the ladder
Cons: Highschool kids not knowing how to read ( categorize by alphabetical order)
