Retail Manager in Oklahoma City:
The stress level can increase as years go by and expectations rise. The best way to stay relevant in the field is to embrace technology. The perception will be with tenure comes leaders that are out-paced by the technology. Always remember in management the job is to show great results. If you invest in the people you will never go wrong. Essentially you will be a people manager. It doesn't matter what title you have (merchandise Manager, Department Manager, Operations Manager, etc) you manage the people to manage the things. Best of Luck!
