Retail Associate Reviews

What is it like working as a Retail Associate?

April 2022
Culture is great, pay though...
Retail Associate in Marquette:
Pros: I truly enjoy my work at Meijer. My managers are always communicating with me and other team members and they allowing us to do our jobs without hovering around. There are really good education opportunities as well.
Cons: Our direct mangers are great and super helpful. Higher ups (the ones who hire and decide pay) are really shifty about where they start people and when they choose to give raises. They will start people over a dollar higher even if they only have under a year of experience, yet they will not raise your wages to match the experience you have gained at the company if you started without any experience.
