Pros: Promoting the highest level of functional status for each patient while maintaining dignity and privacy for each. Also, ensuring total patient satisfaction related to every aspect of their care plan.
Cons: High nurse to patient ratio resulting in decreased time spent at the patientd bedside. This makes developing a strong and positive rapport more challenging.
