Pros: My work family. My patient ratio of 2.it allows to truly give exceptional care to not just to my patients but also the family. I am not rushed and can spend the time with my patients that I care about them, not just doing the job I have to do to get them well.
Cons: We cannot save everyone. You always try your best but we will always lose some, or give a terminal diagnoses to a patient and/ or family. A lot of times I don't like the family dynamics because you can tell the patient is experiencing emotional stress. For the most part, as a nurse you are helpless to help your patient with this. And the parking!
