Could be better.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in Orland Park:
Pros: The patients keep me going.
Cons: I feel like I am just a number. I’ve asked for a reevaluation on my pay and was told they can’t do anything about it because it is up to HR. I don’t feel appreciated; I stay late, come early, pick up shifts and it all has gone unnoticed. Most recently, I requested a day off 3 weeks in advanced for a OB apt, I am pregnant, and was given that day off. Only to be told a few days before that day that my manager needs me to come in for two hours. When I did not come - because my cyst ruptured- I was marked. How is that fair? This company does not care.
