April 2022
I wish I knew that not all holidays were paid holidays. I wish I knew overtime was not an option. I wish I knew I would be paid a straight eighty hour check bi-weekly. I wish I would of known there's no office manager.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in grosse point park:
Take your time looking for places of employment. Ask all the right questions in detail. Compare other practices and benefits to one another to see what's best for your lifestyle.
March 2022
Rewarding but underpaid and under staffed.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) in Hershey:
Pros: I have always wanted to work for Penn State. I do enjoy my job. Our office cannot keep any management on staff and is also extremely short staffed. Based on the fact that Wellspan starts RMA's at 18.00 an hour and I started at 16.00 an hour this may be the reason we can't keep anyone or get more help.
Cons: The pay and the lack of good leadership are difficult. I also have no ide who to talk to about salary, benefits, etc.
