How deadend this job is.
Receptionist:
Use this position as short term stepping stone to a better position and employer.

I get to meet many different types of people.
Receptionist:
Pros: I love the atmosphere. It's relaxed and non-stressful. The other employees are great to work with. There are a few perks that go with the job such as the "Toys for Tots" banquet and cash bonuses for an above average sales month.
Cons: I have to stay by the phone unless I get someone to releive me for a break. Many times, no one is available to relieve be because they are busy with their own assignments.

Employer's don't always take certification inconsideration.
Receptionist:
Please be advice that your certification of Supervisory Management, Project Management and Assessor Certificates isn't always relevant in your new job if no one has business experience who is in director positions. Don't feel sorry for Employer's who say they will look after you. The employer will never feel the need to register you as an employee but to use you as a all rounder to escape the wages of all other job descriptions. Qualifications aligned with South African Qualifications Authorities is none and void in some employer's business. Apply for a normal Receptionist job after Grade 12 and you wages will be the same of experienced skilled workers. A front line job is the most stressful and exciting if it's in your nature to work with different types of people. Always remember that everyone has love inside there inner being. Receptionist is the face of a company. When the employee is happy the company will be a happy one.
