Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Inspector Reviews
What is it like working as a Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Inspector?
December 2015
Quality Assurance (QA) / Quality Control (QC) Inspector:
Pros: I have to stay active. Too much sitting down can only mean two bad things:
1) Work has slowed down significantly.
2) QA/QC should not be your job.
The position makes you endlessly knowledgable. There are so many things to learn all the time; in regards to the product being produced, the raw materials, how to improve the experience of the laborer and customer, and generally across many industries. QA/QC is needed position to have in ANY successful business.
Cons: The laziness, and the old dogs that refuse to learn new tricks. Every work place has them and they are almost impossible to break and mold into a new and growing business. And that attitude can be such a cancer to a business or switch of management. With laziness comes training to switch these people into a new gear, but sometimes one speed is the only speed and they it cannot be helped.
