President and CEO Reviews

What is it like working as a President and CEO?

April 2015
Very impressive.
President and CEO:
Pros: I like the office management and responsibility.
Cons: Travel all the time away from family.
March 2015
President and CEO:
Pros: I am the Founder and I enjoy helping People.
Cons: Not be able to travel more, and make more money.
February 2015
The Good & The Bad as President & CEO.
President and CEO:
Pros: The one thing that is stressful is all the meetings you would have to go to. Our company is a military contractor so I have meetings all around the world. Another thing is that you are not alone working on a project or supervising. You have advisers and people who help with certain jobs so if you can't do something then they try to relieve that stress. I love my job! It pays great and I can do a lot of things within the world.
Cons: I dislike all of the paperwork you have to complete. It depends on the company you are with. In ours, everyone has tons of paperwork to be filled out. My schedule can get extremely busy as well which leaves little time to be with friends or family.
February 2015
If only I was a Polymelian (Had 4 arms)
President and CEO:
Pros: The constant challenges and changes, the never-ending problem-solving the need for analytical thinking, the many "hats" I need to wear. To be driven ........ To be better!
Cons: Politics! Even though I love the intellectual challenges that it presents, it is arduous and draining, time consuming and sometimes quite "destructive" and disruptive.
February 2015
Very difficult to raise money in an underserved area.
President and CEO:
Make sure that you do your homework, establish Community Partnerships, and Collaborations. It's vital to a Non-Profit's success.
January 2015
Objective Understanding is Critical to Success.
President and CEO:
Regardless of your undergraduate major, make certain you obtain some expertise in the financial aspects of your organization. Even though you may have a perfectly altruistic mission, the "real world" will eventually force your attention to the realities of meeting a payroll and paying the rent. Anticipating these needs is critical to your organization's long range impact.
September 2014
Self Employed.
President and CEO:
Running your own business is the last truly merit based pay. Plus you won't hate your boss.
