Power Plant Operator in West Lafayette:
Pros: Great job security, Purdue resolves most problems without firing, and cares about retention. It's a Land-Grant College, so we're basically working for the state, as such our benefits and salaries reflect similar government positions.
Cons: Low salary rate. Extremely slow for upgrades and improvements.

Power Plant Operator in Tuguegarao City:
Pros: Tuguegarao City isn't my work place, it's in Magat dam, an isolated place in ramon isabela with a scenic view in the dam's crest.
Cons: Isolated place, limited place where to buy food and other needs. If there are storms and other calamities you can be isolated in a while due to tree's that are donw.

Don't go in blind.
Power Plant Operator:
Understand heat transfer and fluid flow. Be able to read P&IDs. Learn from the people who have been there longer than you.

Pros: Freedom to be in a place that I love.
Cons: Lots of responsibility some times but nothing I cant handle.
