Personal Care Attendant (PCA) in Pleasant Hill:
Pros: I love being able to help clients live their quality of life, while living in their own homes.
Cons: The pay. Caregiving is NOT an easy job. it takes a tough skin sometime s and it takes a toll on you mentally and physically. I feel the agency should offer the caregivers some incentive to give their best, but be compensated at the same time. I feel $15 an hour to start would be a great Incentive to recruit new caregivers and with proper training they will become 'Great' caregivers.
