Full time Carer.
Personal / Home Care Aide:
If your becoming a full time carer, for a loved one, family member or other you need great support. If you rely on Government payments you may find this will add to your stress levels. Coupled with little or no public housing and no way of getting stable accommodation will cause more stress. The fact is if you are reliant on Centrelink payments and get all your entitled to your gross pay per our per fortnight is $2.19ish per hour based on 24/7 care. No other entitlements or overtime. If you have no or little support the only thing is to remember why your doing it it's not for money or recognition but the love of helping someone that needs your help.
