What is it like working as an Operations Manager, Retail?

September 2015
The crazy life in sports.
Operations Manager, Retail:
Pros: The experience you have working in a stadium. The different types of people. The events you manage. Perks. Deadlines.
Cons: The amount of hours working. The pressure. No appreciation.
March 2015
Good to.
Operations Manager, Retail:
Be organized and have a daily plan of jobs to do. Follow up people's work and give daily feedback if needed.
February 2015
Frustration.
Operations Manager, Retail:
Most of what I have learned has been self taught. Unfortunately the retail business, especially furniture because they are not take with items, have a lot of emotions that go along with them. You must rely on someone else to supply you with the merchandise, it is not just something that you put on a hook on a shelf and they help themselves. Ask as many questions as possible and don't be afraid to ask for help. Give yourself at least 20 minutes in your day to be quiet...most of the time everyone is either asking for your help or directed to you for help. Make a routine for yourself and try to stick to it. Most important...find an outlet.
