Office Supervisor Reviews

What is it like working as an Office Supervisor?

January 2017
Good but one needs a change.
Office Supervisor in Johannesburg:
Pros: The passion of the job ,fulfillment and challenging.Working with 95% of man it has its moments. I gained a lot of knowledge .As a hard worker I'm a person who is always hungry for knowledge, willing to go extra mile and working long hours. One has grown a lot as for the past 12yrs I have shown that I work as a manager even though I'm a supervisor.
Cons: Bad not being recognised to the positions that one hold salary or grade still the same .Working even if you are at home .low salary not able to afford to buy a car .travelling early hours to get to work and travelling long distance to get home .Supporting a family with food it's difficult cause one has to balance both bond and food .Tired.
January 2016
Multi tasking.
Office Supervisor:
Pros: Autonomy. Trust.
Cons: Low salary.
April 2015
More toward internal duties, office operations, some HR, ICT.
Office Supervisor:
Pros: Various duties give broad experiences, dealing with many people like vendors from ICT, officials from HR at government offices and other stakeholders related to petroleum business.
Cons: Rather administrative jobs is quite tedious. I would rather like a more dynamic and rather analytical type of works. Sometimes for months, there are no significant changes in tables and lists that I create. Hope someday I can contribute more to a preferred job.
