Nurse Oncology Reviews
What is it like working as a Nurse Oncology?
March 2022
Management is a click and unprofessional. They make awful decisions and are manipulated by the “ good old girls club” that many of us have been trying to tell HR about… nobody listens or cares.
Nurse Oncology in Colorado Springs:
Pros: My patients
Cons: Management telling me that every so often I need to make sure the schedulers, the lab, the PFC’s are doing their jobs… basically I have to be a secretary instead of a treatment nurse… not in my job description

I make a difference.
Nurse Oncology in Pioneer:

Cons: Making sure every pt is perverted for every med they recieve

Experiencing the Oncology Setting.
Nurse Oncology in Zabbar:

Cons: Patient’s prognosis and deterioration leaves it’s toll

Wonderful Culture and we have the best patients!
Nurse Oncology in Seattle:
Pros: I love our patients and my team. We really are a team and are someone is always available to answer a question or lend a hand. They offer several education days throughout the year and support employees who are looking to further their career.
Cons: We are growing so fast that we are always under construction. It will be so nice once it's done! But it will allow us to deliver high quality care to even more people!

Nurse Oncology in Houston:
The pay is competitive with the medical center and everyone is pretty friendly for the most part. There are a lot of great, caring health care workers here and teamwork is pretty good. The downside is there is very little room for growth and you get minimal paid time off. Sick time policy is pretty terrible. You can't use any of your sick time unless you're sick for 3 or more days and have a doctor's note. You must use your vacation time for the 1st two days you're sick and then sick time can be applied on and after day 3.
December 2019
The Work does not match the pay for some of us.
Nurse Oncology in Miami:
Pros: Great support from immediate management and the nursing staff
Cons: Very much underpaid
October 2019
Nurse Oncology in Fort Wayne:
The doctors are amazing. They are compassionate and love their staff and patients so much. I love going to work every day and couldn't imagine working anywhere else. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is because upper management is nonclinical and is inconsistent, doesn't understand what we do or payscales.
