Night Auditor, Hotel Reviews
What is it like working as a Night Auditor, Hotel?
December 2015
Stress levels are not high at night and the early mourning.
Night Auditor, Hotel:
Pros: I like my job because it has allowed me to experience something I never donr before. I also like making people happy.
Cons: Too much she said she said. And lack of the right kind of communication.

Low pay.
Night Auditor, Hotel:
Alot is expected from night auditors. Also, it seems like alot of blame ispushed off on the night auditors when 9 times out of 10 it is not their fault. It is unfair to make the same as housekeeping when they are also recieving tips. Why is it that we are not recieving a shift differential? We also were required to take extra training for the position. There are only two hired night auditors. No calling off. No one to switch days with if needed. No one on any other shift knows the work. Oh and the risk of being robbed and dealing with the drunk people...hmmm? Oh hey< walmart door greeters are making $10 an hour in my towm. Why is it that as a night auditor I am only being paid 8.50? Also, we are the only person in the building. Therefore< we are unable to get a lunch break like every other employee at the hotel and we must solve all and any issues that arrive. No option to ask the manager. Then, if the way we resolved a problem isnt perfect we havwe everyone jumping down our backs.

Motel 6 Night Audit.
Night Auditor, Hotel:
Pros: I like that I can grow facial hair. My boss will actually back me up. I am on my own on my shift, and able to work at my own pace, and make my own calls.
Cons: The less than livable wage. There are nights when guests can be stressful, and even dangerous. There is next to no communication between other shifts and mine about what is going on, or where to find certain supplies.
April 2015
Night Auditor, Hotel:
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: Can't take time off there is no one to fill in for you. No pay advances. No benefits, no overtime pay Do not like 3rd shift.
