National Sales Manager Reviews
What is it like working as a National Sales Manager?
January 2017
How challenging, how competitive, and how rewarding it is!
National Sales Manager in California:
The ERP market space is truly a complex, challenging and very competitive environment. There are many variables required to be an effective National Sales Manager in the ERP space. Above all, you need a high degree of emotional intelligence, the skills of an exceptionally good leader and the mind of a strategist and tactician.
On the macro level you must have the ability to structure an effective Business strategy which takes into consideration the companies strengths and weaknesses relative to the target market needs and other competitors occupying the space. On the micro level you must have a clear eye in identifying "capable" sales talent and you must have the ability to manage and lead this talent. I truly believe to be effective in this area you must understand the ERP industry, you must posses outstanding sales and communication skills. You must be able to "walk the talk" add value to the sales process, inspire and teach this talent in areas of weakness.

National Sales Manager in Buffalo:

A Niche within a niche.
National Sales Manager:
The EcoSmart Fire / Brown Jordan Fires products are a premium priced fire marketed towards your higher than average income buyer. Built with design as one of the main lures to the product, the product has a challenging relationship with value as the price doesn't always reflect the longevity and performance you would receive with a less expensive item.
The company culture is better than average and the US-CEO is an amazing person who is very fair, loyal and well liked by his people. It's an easy company to work in, they ALWAYS strive to do the right thing in EVERY case. They also go the extra mile to bring different types of training to the company to help you become a more well-rounded employee.
To excel at this job you need to be an extremely talented hunter who is able to identify new clients in all sub-channels of the business. You need to be equally strong at servicing the accounts and nurturing them through the training, merchandising, selling and re-ordering process.

How to manage change.
National Sales Manager:
All people are different and have the ability to change. If they cannot change you must be willing to change the people.
