Familiarise yourself with the medical industries' pro's and con's, always make yourself available for training and development opportunities.

No Health Care?
Medical Receptionist:
Pros: I like the atmosphere. It is like a family. Friendly and generally up beat. Flexible.
Cons: Extremely busy. Really hard to keep up with the volume of demands. Lower staffed and high demand for our office. Lacking medical benefits is HUGE!

Cons: No one except for myself answers the phone, and if they do they put them on hold until I am done checking patients in.
