Marketing Analyst Reviews
What is it like working as a Marketing Analyst?
August 2019
Growth but fractured from the acquisition.
Marketing Analyst in Seattle:
Pros: The broad range of tasks that I can do throughout the day
Cons: Everything is decided by Marathon in Findlay, OH and there is no input from legacy Andeavor/Tesoro employees. It's a top-down company managed by Ohio. Little motivation/effort is left by legacy Tesoro employees. Hard to get certain tasks done when half the staff left on their own or was let go
June 2019
Inconsistent Work Environment.
Marketing Analyst in Geneva:
Pros: Very dynamic workplace with lots of potential
Cons: No clear direction for management with many regards
June 2019
Great for those starting out.
Marketing Analyst in San Francisco:
Pros: Most people are nice and very collaborative. The office is also very pretty.
Cons: There is no structure in terms of upward mobility. I find that frustrating as someone who loves to know she's improving or not.
June 2019
Casual work environment, yet challenging and pushes me to bring in new business.
Marketing Analyst in Minneapolis:
Pros: I love seeking new opportunities to bring in New Business at my company and Analyzing Data.
Cons: My pay.
April 2019
Marketing Analyst in Auburn:
As a legacy Tesoro/Andeavor employee, Marathon has done a terrible job at integrating us and I really feel like we are second class employees. Very little is being done to resolve this. Marathon has a big emphasis on diversity and inclusion but they have a long way to go on that. If you are a white male and voted for Trump, you’ll fit right in. As for the rest of us, you should look elsewhere.
Benefits are still really good and I can’t complain there.
April 2019
Challenging but worth it.
Marketing Analyst in Manila:
Pros: Learning process and understanding the business
Cons: No structure in what needs to be done.
March 2019
Fast paced and intense but exciting.
Marketing Analyst in Columbus:
Pros: I like the ability to self start and create new processes with th energy of a start up.
Cons: Unorganized HR processes and constant structural changes.
