Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Reviews
What is it like working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)?
December 2020
No room for advancement .the pay isn’t what I should be making with the experience that I have.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Chicago:
Pros: My co- workers are easy to love
Cons: Some of our equipment is very out dated .And they don’t hire from within giving staff a chance to advance .. and it’s hard to get a decent raise
November 2020
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Avon:
It’s ran by a corporation that only comes in to critique instead of help. When they do come to help we are already drowning. They increased the pay for RNs and STNAS but not LPNS. Overall the pay rate is poor for the very high skill intake we have. The place is in dire need of good help and good administration that understand there is more to a skilled nursing than Covid testing and paperwork.
November 2020
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Conway:
Pay is lower than the lowest average for the state. You earn PTO faster than most companies. However, “holiday pay” comes out of your PTO. Refused to compensate employees infected with COVID from work exposure (management did not send sick employees home). However, I love my coworkers and the doctors I work with.
November 2020
Working as outpatient nurse.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Phillipsburg:
Pros: Co-workers, managers, benefits
Cons: Over worked, short staffed, they dont pay enough
November 2020
Overall a positive experience.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Worcester:
Pros: Helping the residents who reside here.
Cons: The director of reflections memory care unit is a controlling, nurse hater and a bully. I am leaving because she tries her best to make my work life miserable.
November 2020
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Johnson City:
Pros: Independence, caring for ill patients
Cons: lack of communication, lack of appreciation, lack of team work
October 2020
Good company needs better pay.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Spartanburg:
Pros: The donors and the whole process of plasma donating
Cons: Short staff underpaid over worked. Expect us to cross train to all areas with no pay
