Pros: I am aware of the current trends and up to date information. I never imagined I would go into teaching when I decided to study interior design as a career. I was introduced to mentoring and coaching students during my final year at college. Having had a taste of this I found the results very rewarding therefore directed my career in design education.
Cons: I do not feel valued and am under constant pressure to perform.
