Terribly.

No Pay in August and January.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Knoxville:

November 2018
Great place to live and work.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Edmonton:
Pros: It has a vibrant culture. Not in-your-face, but there are plenty of opportunities to broaden my horizons when I choose. The summers are awesome, weather-wise.
Cons: The winters get a bit much, around February.
May 2018
Rewarding place to work.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in High Point:
Pros: I work with amazing colleagues who actually care about students, care about the quality of their own research or creative work, and who actually care about each other. There are occasionally people who don't fall into that category but for the most part, I feel very much supported by and engaged with faculty all across the campus.
February 2018
Stressful, but rewarding.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Auburn University:
Pros: Collaborative faculty
Cons: Lack of communication
September 2017
That there would be very little pay raises.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Idaho Falls:
Do your homework! Find out how much cost of living is--really is...on paper it may say 1 thing but living at a place is very different. Find out how many faculty they lose...for lack of pay.
August 2017
Small charming Southern college town.
Instructor, Postsecondary / Higher Education in Aiken:
Pros: Small school size. Close rapport with students. Freedom of speech. Cost of living is comparatively low. Short commute.
Cons: It's a small town, lacking urban amenities and conveniences. It isn't very multi-cultural. Not many outdoor recreation opportunities nearby.
