What is it like working as an Information Technology (IT) Intern?

Information Technology (IT) Intern:
Pros: The pay and reputation for the company are respectable. Benefits are excellent. Hours on many teams are somewhat flexible.
Cons: The company is in constant stress about shareholders and this creates a tense environment throughout the organization, as cost-cutting measures are thrown out without much thought for long-term impact. Cost-cutting also means cutting/moving jobs year after year, which has reduced morale significantly among those who remain in the region.

Cons: Can be a bit stressful sometime but nothing bad overall.

I have ability to bring about new things.
I am part of the project management office which has enabled me to be a part of everything the company initiates.
Cons: Salaries are far from the best. Below 10% of market related.
