What is it like working as an Information Technology (IT) Intern?
July 2020
Your Satsifaction Depends on Your Job Title.
Information Technology (IT) Intern in Auburn Hills:
Pros: My coworkers were the number one reason why I showed up to work. My team was supportive and always there to give me a leg up.We had corporate events like volunteering a local non-profit, or going to a basketball game and team bonding experience. We were worked as a team and the company atmosphere was positive.
Cons: I felt like every month someone either someone was laid off, your desk changed or your position was modified. At a time we had an HR person reporting to the CEO but they left and another department handed that responsibility. I thought we were a business that cared about its people. The experience made me feel that I was just a number, and that I was just another expense bring the company down. This position brought my confidence down and damaged my self-esteem.
