Information Security Analyst Reviews
What is it like working as an Information Security Analyst?
January 2021
Great Work Environment.
Information Security Analyst in Manchester:
Pros: I like St. Mary's as a company, their mission and volunteer choices and serving the community.
Cons: Very specific to my role, trying to chase down managers to respond to audits
August 2020
Information Security Analyst in Phoenix:
American Express is a great company to work for.. For most people. If you're in IT, though, it can be frustrating. A lot of important decisions are made with IT as an afterthought to be ironed out on-the-fly to meet business demands. A common saying among IT personnel is "AMEX is not a technology company", emphasizing the subordination of technology concerns over business concerns (often times leading to more expensive solutions being implemented later on).
The pay is very good, the benefits are pretty good (20 weeks paid parental leave is nice, medical insurance is mediocre), and the company is super accommodating to maintaining work/life balance.
May 2020
Important work, not always budgeted.
Information Security Analyst in Grants Pass:
Pros: The people I work with
Cons: Department Human Resource Management and the slow pace of decision-making and project roll out
February 2020
Great team and the work is never boring.
Information Security Analyst in Cottonwood:
Pros: The appreciation that the team and the company have for each other
Cons: It can be stressful working multiple roles due to a smaller company
February 2020
It's very hard to compare my salary to others in Sacramento because there are very few companies (especially in tech) that are based in Sacramento. Most people here work for the State.
Information Security Analyst in Sacramento:
Pros: It's a nice area that is within good proximity to amazing places for weekend getaways.
Cons: The community is older so if you're young, it's hard to make friends or socialize outside of work settings.
January 2020
Great Benefits.
Information Security Analyst in Providence:
Pros: My direct manager is great.
Cons: There was a change in upper management a few years ago. Since then they have taken away some benefits, such as educational courses, certification courses, etc. New upper management has let go of many IT employees. When I first started the attrition rate was just about non existent, but it has gone up significantly.
October 2019
It's not bad.
Information Security Analyst in Burbank:
Pros: I get to learn new stuff
