Information Security Analyst Reviews
What is it like working as an Information Security Analyst?
October 2022
Good company to work for to gain experience.
Information Security Analyst in Reno:
Pros: It’s surprisingly laid back and very predictable
Cons: Slow growth, and empty promises with those I either work with or just the pay in general compared to other places.
August 2022
A place is the same as the other.
Information Security Analyst in São Paulo:
Pros: its a city where everything is available, anytime
Cons: Its far away from my daughter
May 2022
Stressful, but rewarding work.
Information Security Analyst in Philadelphia:
Pros: I have the opportunity to continue to build the Security Risk Management program here at Elsevier. I can use the skills and training I acquired in my degree at Penn State to help protect our technology assets, strengthen risk awareness, and build relationships with other business units.
Cons: I'm the only Risk Analyst, so there's a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. Plus, we've had higher-than-average turnover in Technology, so a lot of institutional knowledge has left the building.
February 2022
Information Security Analyst in Seattle:
Company continues to lose employees based on values not with current times. Old white man managers, little minority support. No remote option for IT. Zero leadership or goals. Terrible decision. No fat trimming.
November 2021
Challenging.
Information Security Analyst in Kansas City:
Pros: Everything is in the process of being built from the ground up
Cons: There isn't enough funding for better salaries.
November 2021
Could be better.
Information Security Analyst in Birmingham:
Pros: My department is great. Most of the people in the department are incredibly talented and have a strong sense of work ethic.
Cons: Forces outside the department, especially HCL, seem to frequently target us without merit in an attempt to undermine our goals. Executives outside of Security throw money away on unneeded software when we have paid for tools already that accomplish the same job, yet somehow we've barely been able to get any kind of pay increases in a few years.
October 2021
Great place as a first full-time job, but better opportunities exist.
Information Security Analyst in Rosemont:
Pros: Being able to work from home.
Cons: Questionable management decisions that negatively impact our department.
