Human Resources (HR) Director Reviews
What is it like working as a Human Resources (HR) Director?
March 2017
Oakland is an up and coming city.
Human Resources (HR) Director in Oakland:
Pros: Oakland is an up in coming city with lots of potential. Companies are moving in due to lack of space in SF. This is giving Oakland a lot of opportunity to shine. Fun things to do in Oakland, great places to eat and it is still somewhat affordable compared to other cities near SF.
Cons: Crime is evident in Oakland. Robberies, muggings, homeless people camping on city streets is very common in Oakland. As a native, the city has promise on one side and depression on the other which is sad. The hope is to help those who are in the depressed side to just improve to city but this isn't being done yet.
